To help you choose from our engraving materials, we have introduced symbols to simplify the identification of features for each material depending on your needs.

    CO2 Laser

    CO2 laser

    Generally used for the engraving and cutting of acrylic and plastic materials. It can also be used for metals with coatings and anodised metals. ABS materials can also be used although the quality of cutting and laser engraving depends on the materials and/or colours. With just a few exceptions, the majority of materials on which a CO2 laser can be used are also compatible with mechanical machines.

      YAG Laser

    YAG laser

    Generally used for metals with or without coatings. 
    A wide range of plastic materials can also be engraved with this machine.

      Fibre Laser

    Fibre laser

    Generally used for metals with or without coatings.
    A wide range of plastic materials can also be engraved with this machine.

    Mechanical engraving

    Mechanical engraving (with a rotating cutting tool)

    The most versatile engraving technology. Compatible with the majority of plastic and metal materials.

    UV printing

    UV printing

    UV LED printing material.

    Indoor use

    Indoor use

    Material designed for indoor use which does not require resistance to UV light or changes in the climate.

    Outdoor use

    Outdoor use

    Generally applies to certain metals and acrylic materials, known for their resistance to ultraviolet light and their ability to resist changes in the climate.

    Surface engraving

    Surface engraving

    Materials made up of one, two or three layers engraved to show the core of the material and provide a contrast in colour between the base and the surface.

    Reverse engraving

    Underside engraving

    Applies to materials of one or two layers with a transparent base.
    The reverse of the material is engraved.
    Once engraved, the characters and logos can be painted to create an aesthetic colour contrast.
