Wide choice in our product ranges

A wide selection in our product range

A wide range of materials specifically developed for engraving and cutting make up the range of more than 900 items that we have in stock. "Surface" or "underside" engraving, laser marking or cutting engraving, all of our plastic, metal and layered materials are available in a number of colours with thicknesses from 0.09 mm to 10 mm (or 0.004" to 0.40") depending on the product and different finishes: matt, brilliant, gloss, textured, metal and brass. The vast majority of our materials are compatible with digital printing. You are guaranteed to find the product you need. Thanks to our production facilities in the United States and Europe, we are able to offer custom solutions (colour, finish, thickness etc.) even for small quantities. Don't hesitate to contact us!

    Raw materials

Our raw materials come from the rigorous selection of the best providers around the world who offer the best guarantees in terms of organisation (ISO*).
Our acrylics and ABS are pure and chosen for their quality.
Each component is subject to a rigorous selection procedure taking into account regulatory and environmental obligations (RoHS**, REACH***). You can also guarantee your customers that all of the necessary conditions have been met and all of the necessary obligations have been complied with. We can provide written documentation on request.

    Colours

    Colours

The rendering of the colours and the coherence of one production batch with another were the subject of particular research by graphical arts professionals. Resistance to UV is essential for materials that come into contact with light, particularly those for outdoor use. We place our expectations well above market criteria in order to enable you to engage safely. The selection of components and the decisions on approval are made accordingly. Our operational teams carry out regular controls using spectral colorimetry to measure the differences in colour: we compare the reflected light of a randomly selected sample with our "reference sample". This measure shows the difference in colour (or "ΔE") and the opacity.

A flawless colour and a good retention of the material over time are also guaranteed.

    Sizes

The dimensions indicated in our catalogues, 1220 x 610 mm or 48'' x 24'' as standard, represent the minimum size. Each sheet is subject to strict squareness of 0.25 mm/metre (0.01''/yd). In general, the dimensions of our plastic materials are greater than those advertised.

This is a guarantee for you that you will receive the effective size purchased even if the edges are fixed.

    Thickness and flatness

    Thickness and flatness

The thickness of the different layers that make up your material is finely calibrated: our engineers and technicians have perfectly mastered the execution process. The thickness of the material is controlled based on a tolerance scale defined depending on the type of material. The finishing layer is Gravoply™2, Metallex™, Gravoply™Laser and Gravoply™ Ultra at a thickness of just a few microns.

You can therefore obtain an extremely fine and aesthetic engraving and minimise the production of shavings and smoke, all while benefiting from the productivity and the speed of your engraving machine, whether it is mechanical or laser.
With Gravoply™ 1, Gravoglas™ 2-Plex™ and even Gravotac™, the different layers calibrated to 250 microns are assembled for hot compression in our workshops.
Our products are not co-extruded as this technique does not guarantee the regularity of the thickness and flatness of the material. The lamination phase occurs in very small batches and even sometimes for individual items in order to obtain the best possible flatness.

You are certain to achieve precise engraving at a regular depth and quality milling across the entire surface of the sheet.

    Protection, packaging, tracking

Our materials are protected by a semi-adhesive, personalised Gravograph protective film. The engraved or milled surfaces are also protected from pollution or any other change.
Each sheet is also labelled with its reference, its designation and its batch number, This means our quality assurance system has the tracking information it needs in the event of any defects. Our packaging is adapted to the challenges of transport around the world and is renowned for its strength.

You also have the assurance of buying an original product and benefiting from the Premium quality of our materials from their arrival in your workshop.

We call it constant improvement, the dynamic of our organisation and the spirit of our company.
