For the past 60 years Gravograph have been supplying the Funeral Trade with engraving machines both reliable and easy to use. Across the UK hundreds of coffin plates are engraved every day on machines well over 30 years old.
Manual pantograph engravers are the ideal choice for Funeral Directors with low volume engraving requirements or limited budget.
Computerised engravers are ideal for those with higher volume requirements or wishing to produce better looking plates thanks to an unlimited choice of letter style and symbols such as hearts, crosses, doves and more. Computerised engravers truly work like a printer, meaning that no skill other than a basic PC knowledge is required. It is as simple as 1-2-3: open a template, type in new text, press Start.
The IM3 pantograph engraver is renowned for its build quality as well as ease of use thanks to a versatile vice that will accommodate all plates. A variety of letter styles are available.
Fitted with a sticky mat that will hold coffin plates firmly in place, the M40 engraver is today Gravograph's best selling computerised machine within the Funeral Trade (see video). Another popular system is the extremely compact IS200 model fitted with jigs for coffin plates.
Photo realistic engraving of portraits can be easily achieved with a computerised engraver.
Astonishing detailed engraving into wood and plastic can be achieved with a laser engraver such as the LS100.
